Passion

An exploration of Shingo Sato pattern making techniques where design lines are drawn onto a calico base before being cut into panel pieces. A key component of the technique is manipulating and hiding the darts into the design lines.
The techniques were used to create a garment that expressed the feeling of passion. Silky red fabric and a soft flow of panel lines expressed the feeling into a physical garment.
